THE Telpara Hills Elite Genetics sale, held on Tuesday afternoon at Beef 2015, was another successful chapter in the Atherton stud's impressive resume.
A total of five bulls sold to a top of $38,000 and averaged $13,500 at the Telpara Hills Elite Genetics Brangus sale.
Wayne and Kellie Dobe and family, CPR Brangus, Desalis Station, Gumlu, paid the top price and secured three head in total.
Heifers topped at $32,000 for another lot purchased by the Dobe family and overall averaged $11,800.
Alan Bennett, Wonga Way, Coffs Harbour NSW, Fiona Hubbard, Granular Products, Orange NSW and Annika Whale, Glen William, NSW, were among the crowd at the sale. Click here to view the social photo gallery.
Six pregnancy tested in calf recipient heifers averaged $3500 while 32 embryos averaged $993.
The sale achieved a 100 per cent clearance.
