Taleesha Fegatilli grew up on a mango farm in Mareeba, and considers herself lucky to live on the Atherton Tableland.
She completed year 12 at Atherton State High School. Since school she has completed a Diploma of Business at James Cook University and a Certificate III in Financial Services. Taleesha works at the Commonwealth Bank in Mareeba as a customer service specialist.
Her ambitions include owning her first home by the age of 25 and travelling as much of the world as she can. She enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, hiking, kayaking, swimming, playing soccer and football. She also enjoys painting and reading. Taleesha comes from a mostly Italian family and enjoys eating good food, in particular good rich foods, especially pastas.
Q: What inspires you?
A: My sister and her drive to live inspires me. She has so many stories to tell, experiences, memories, dreams and ambitions.
Q: What do you see yourself doing in five years?
A: I see myself in a beautiful house I own with my family around me and endless experiences and stories to share.
Q: What's your main rule in life?
A: Don't stress. Think positive, and positive things will happen.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most during the Showgirl Awards State Final at the Ekka?
A: I am looking forward mostly to just being at the Ekka, to experience the Ekka, with the opportunity to be a part of the showgirl competition and do a little more than what most people would is going to be something I will talk about for the rest of my life.
