Making sense of soils with SYMSOC
THIS all-terrain vehicle,with its hi-tech sensors and software, could be part of the answer to some nagging questions about soil carbon and help uncover some of its potential for farmers and landholders.
Trees add more carbon
MALLEE eucalypt and environmental plantings can grow and store (sequester) carbon at up to eight times the rate previously estimated, adding to the other benefits they can provide for stock shelter, salinity mitigation, pollination, biodiversity and farm amenity.
