CASE IH's Magnum Series tractors have clocked up 25 years since the first models were delivered to Australian farmers in 1987.
The company's product manager, tractors, Tim Fanning, said the Magnum had long been a customer favourite.
"The Magnum brand has built a legacy for reliability, exceptional performance and durability over the past 25 years," he said. "The Magnum series has been built with customer feedback front of mind, offering more power to handle the most demanding tasks at higher speeds, better fuel efficiency and with the best cab in its class. Magnum delivers leading fuel efficiency, and with Automatic Productivity Management (APM), you can achieve up to an additional 24 percent in fuel savings."
Mr Fanning said APM also made the Magnum easy to drive, even for the least experienced operators.
"The current model Magnum has the tightest turning radius in its class and delivers more power to the ground with minimal ballast due to its sculptured surround frame," he said.
"Operator comfort is also a hallmark of Magnum tractors, with the current models providing drivers with the largest, quietest cab, with the best visibility on the market and industry exclusive cab suspension is standard.
"The Multicontrol armrest further enhances operator comfort by putting control of 80 to 90pc of the tractor's commonly used functions in one hand."
To celebrate Magnum's 25th anniversary, Mr Fanning said Case IH had produced 150 special edition silver Magnums globally.
"We've managed to secure a dozen of these special edition machines for Australia," he said. "Look out for these tractors at upcoming field days across the country."
All 2013 Magnum tractors will come with a commemorative 25-year decal on the bonnet in recognition of the milestone.
"2013 is an exciting year for Magnum we look forward to building on the Magnum legacy in the coming years by continuously improving and upgrading our range to offer superior engine power through smart, efficient designs," Mr Fanning said.
