THE highly sought after Jerry's Gully property in the Morinish district, situated 68 kilometres north west of Rockhampton, has sold under the hammer in Rockhampton yesterday for $2.1 million.
Offered by the Booth family, as part of finalising an estate, this top-quality bullock finishing property was bought by Allan and Abbey Lucas, who recently sold their Goovigen property.
Consisting of 3546 hectares of prime Brigalow and softwood scrub country with the balance fair to good quality forest country, Jerry's Gully has a 5.5km frontage to the Fitzroy River.
The country can comfortably finish 400 bullocks and runs 250 breeders.
The sale was conducted by Tomkins Valuers Auctioneers and Agents, and Ray White Rural, Rockhampton.
