The grassed up Ravenswood cattle property Avocavale has sold at auction.
THE grassed up North Queensland cattle property Avocavale has sold for $1.575 million at an Elders auction in Townsville this morning.
Located at Ravenswood, about 70km east of Charters Towers, the 5957ha (14,720 acre) pastoral holding is estimated to carry about 800 mixed cattle.
The price is equivalent to about $264/ha ($107/acre).
