THE Dalby Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is investigating a traffic crash that took the life of a Curra man this morning on the Moonie Highway at Nandi.
At about 11.50am, police were advised that a utility and a vehicle had collided approximately five kilometres west of Dalby.
A 43-year-old man and driver of the utility was found deceased at the scene, and a 17-year-old woman from Weranga, passenger in the other vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries.
She was transported by QAS to Dalby Hospital and then via air to a Brisbane hospital.
The Moonie Highway is currently closed around the Nandi-Tipon Road and Wilds Road. Diversions are currently in place and police urge all motorists to drive carefully.
There is no further information available at this stage as investigations are continuing.
