HANG on to your hats people! Kabra junior rider, Jett Graham scored himself a smashing great buckle at the Calliope Campdraft over the weekend.

The 9 year old son of well known Kabra couple, Mert and Trudy Graham won the Junior event on Legs' Shadow, a 14 year old gelding previously owned by Andrew and Roxanne Olive, Raglan Station, Raglan.

When Jett's brother, Abe won the Calliope Junior event in 2010, that prize buckle was the cause of some good natured family envy. Now the brothers have a buckle each and peace can return to the family home.

Craig Radke didn't win a buckle, but with the swag of trophies and prize money that he took home, he wasn't complaining. Winning the Open with Concert, and placing sixth with Costume, the talented rider also picked up equal fourth and sixth in the Novice.

Maiden winner, Paul Stone, 'Sesame', Baralaba was delighted with his win on Double up Peptoss. The 5 year old mare by Peptos Stylish Oak is owned by Ray & Judy Heslin, R J Diamond Stud, 'Inverleigh', Normanton and was purchased at the 2011 Tamworth Performance Horse Sale. Paul also placed fourth in the Open on Tusk.

Taroom rider, Tanya White, 'Peek a Doo', won the Novice by one point from Ken Hamilton and Hush. Tanya combined with her 7 year old mare, Whisper to win the Novice and take home the trophy for the cut out in the Maiden as well. Purchased from Quentin Szeury, the combination has been competing for 2 years as a team with a second in the Gayndah Ladies and multiple places in Encouragement Drafts.

Hayden Zahl, Alpha rode Little Billy to victory in the Juvenile draft and also placed equal second on Caddie, with Gemma Tapp and First Class. Other multiple placegetters included Morgan Rideout, David Howard and Rick Hopkins. Cattle were donated by the Wilson Family, Calliope Station and the Neill-Ballantine family.
