A THREE-STATE buyers' panel saw sires top $40,000, joined females hit $32,500, unjoined heifers make to $24,000 and breeder units sell to a high of $20,000 at yesterday’s NCC Red Legacy Brahman Sale.
Vendors, the Nobbs family, NCC Stud, Duaringa saw their cow and calf units set an average of $7146.
Their joined heifers averaged $7442 and their unjoined heifers averaged $6882 for a bottom line result where 112 females set a $7125 overall medium.
The four sires in the offering averaged $16,750 while two semen packages averaged $2500.
Top selling female was the $32,500, 32-month-old NCC Dienka 2696 (IVF) (JDH Mr Elmo Manso) selling to the Diddine Stud, South Lismore, NSW, while the $40,000 top selling sire, NCC Santoro (IVF) sold to Brenten, Hamilton, Caitlyn and Emily Donaldson, Medway, Bogantungan.
