VISITORS to Beef 2015 will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique dining experience titled 'Nose to Tail' on opening night, Sunday, May 3, from 6pm.
The dinner will be staged at the a la carte restaurant on the grounds of the Rockhampton Showgrounds, and will feature canapes, a five-course meal, and complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks.
In a very relaxing way to start the week of Beef celebrations, it will also be entertaining and educational. Brisbane's highly rated chef Peter Carter, Bouchers French Bistro, Graceville, will cook a delicious menu using most of the non-loin cuts.
A celebrity butcher will interact with guests as he breaks down a carcase and explains what each of the meat cuts are, and how best to cook them to get the maximum return from the beef.
The dinner is a partnership between the Angus family's Signature Beef, Kimberley Station, Clermont, Herron Todd White and Queensland Country Life.
