THE grand champion Brahman female at this year's Sydney Royal Show has been sold for $80,000.
At the completion of the Sydney Royal's interbreed judging today it was announced that the senior and grand champion female from the Brahman feature breed ring, Olive Lady Adelaide, had been sold just prior to the show for $80,000.
She was sold with a heifer calf at foot.
The sale was negotiated by Ross and Natalie Olive, Olive Brahmans, Gogango when the Thai Torch Farmers Co visited the stud during an arranged tour.
It is believed the sale is a record price.
