Taking action on debt

Event co-ordinator Sarah Fea, an agricultural consultant with BEAR Biologics and a current events co-ordinator on the Board of QRRRWN, is no stranger to the real issues of rural Australia, both through her work and personally.

“Rural Australia is in crisis and not just from drought,” she said.

“There are financial pressures, the stresses and strains of distance, long hours, poor communication skills plus poor personal and operational planning and management.

“All the speakers for the event have been given the clear charter that we want positive strategies forward.

“There is no-one better to shape our positive frame of mind than the passionate and motivated speaker Julie Cross who is up after lunch.

The first speaker is Dr David Pascoe who will be giving a summary of the special meeting held in Winton last month known as ‘The Last Stand in Winton’ that dealt with the rural debt crisis.

After that Dr Evan Jones will be joining Claire Priestly to discuss the current case she and her brothers are having with the NAB.

Then Rod Saal will share details of the local crisis and advise what the support ‘toolbox’ he and his colleagues have designed can do to support disadvantaged people.

After Julie Cross explains how financial disasters can be turned around, Len Clampett will provide his take on the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution and the issue of sovereign rights.

The final speaker is Colin Uebergang who will give an insight into private fractional reserve banking plus the prosperity achieved from public banking.

MC of the forum is Paul Griffiths who for many years has been helping Australians gain the future they desire.

With his background as an ABC TV and BBC TV journalist (This Day Tonight; The Inventors) he’s conducted courses utilising Allan Savory’s concepts of ‘Holistic Management’ in many parts of eastern Australia.

As a professional MC he has presented and chaired some 350 conferences around the planet for more than 35 years.

His abiding interest is in helping the folk of Australia’s country towns open the boarded-up shop windows and get their businesses rolling again.

“This is a forum that will be run under the Holistic management framework where conflict is not to enter the room, as ultimately in most instances we are actually all striving for the same outcomes,” Ms Fea said.

“There is a clear goal to have measurable actions come from this forum, with smaller forums to follow expected.

“It is not just another talk fest, all those present will be part of making a clear strategy and vision forward for the future of the financial stability of our nation.”
