THERE are myriad crops produced in Queensland, contributing billions of dollars to the state's economy each year.
To celebrate these achievements, Queensland Country Life found out more about the top 10 commodities and their growers.
As of October 2014, analysts within the Department of Agriculture calculated the following 10 crops as Queensland's biggest:
1. Sugarcane $1168m
2. Bananas $538m
3. Sorghum $456m
4. Cotton (raw) $401m
5. Tomatoes $268m
6. Wheat $175m
7. Avocadoes $156m
8. Strawberries $150m
9. Capsicums and chillies $134m
10. Maize $113m
