THOUSANDS of spectators turned out for the XXXX Gold Roma Cup, where afternoon showers didn't stop revellers from having a great time.

Queensland Country Life's Penelope Arthur caught up with race lovers at the Inside Track Party.

Toowoomba horse Blow a Kiss won the coveted title after the race was delayed due to rain. Blow a Kiss is owned by Anselmo Morosini and Dr Kim McCasker, and was ridden by Adam Best and trained by Michael Nolan.
