AN international agricultural consulting conference will be held at The Pavilion, Breakfast Creek, Brisbane on Thursday, May 8.
The afternoon event hosted by the Ag Institute Australia Queensland Division has a top line-up of speakers with experience in the international arena.
It aims to review priorities and practices leading to successful research and development outcomes including the benefits to Australian agriculture.
Guest speakers include
· Dr John Dixon, a senior adviser with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.
· Professor Ralph van Gelder, a private international agribusiness and livestock consultant.
· Professor Kaye Basford from the University of Queensland who is on the Board of Trustees of the International Rice Research Institute and also a Crawford Fund Director.
· Mr David Crombie, a director of GRM International and Commissioner with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.
