DOW AgroSciences Queensland Outback Barbarians has notched up the second win of their 2010 US Tour beating the highly fancied Chicago team Southside Irish, 62-0.

Held at Gaelic Rugby Park about 40 minutes drive from the centre of Chicago, the physically demanding game revealed plenty of aggression from both sides.

However, the well structured Barbarians gameplan and the skill and desire to win secured the major victory for the tourists.

At one stage the Barbarians repelled five penalties and seven Southside Irish phases five metres from their line.

In all 10 Outback Barbarians crossed the line for five pointers with Stephen O'Leary (Toowoomba) and Bradley Reeves (Rockhampton) both bootiing three goals each.

The Barbarians spirits were lifted with the return from injury of fullback Bradley Reeves and hooker John Fry, who came on at tight head prop.

The Outback Barbarians suffered no serious injuries.

* Outback Barbarians 62 (Tries: Groshens, Lund, Manley, Bunyan, Reeves, Papale, Makkai, Jones, Rinaldo, Wellington. Goals: O'Leary 3, Reeves 3) d Irish Southside 0.
